Last April, Conic System expanded its facilities with a new factory in the town of Sant Hilari Sacalm (Girona).

The improvement is the result of our expansion strategy and the new centre has specialised technical staff and more than 6,000 m2 of space dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of our machines sowing and, grafting machines, irrigation booms, etc. This way, the entire production process is concentrated in one place, thereby optimising resources. The implementation of lean systems in the company will lead to more specific and higher quality products, reducing manufacturing times.

Meanwhile, the central offices of Conic System Barcelona have returned to the former greenhouses of the Gusi family that gave origin to the company, located on the B-204 road in Viladecans. These premises have been redeveloped and will house the central management offices, the technical assistance service and the new centre for innovation and technological development.

The expansion of the development centre is a key target for Conic System. Having the design team in the same location as an operating greenhouse means that products can be assessed in situ, thereby directly integrating needs into the creation process. The new development line focusses on the digitised management of machinery, making the step towards the smart greenhouse.
